A proper diet and a properly selected care are the perfect synergy for beauty care. Adding some products to our diet, excluding the products with a negative influence on our skin, and patience are the three essentials of an effective diet for the skin. Which ingredients should we use most often to enjoy a healthy and beautiful skin?
In fact, we will find them in any unprocessed products. The list of vitamins we need is really long, and their names start with half of the alphabet, so we should simply reach for nourishing and fresh products. We should mostly focus on vegetables and fruit ( preferably seasonal), as they are the main source of vitamins in our diet. Let's add them to every meal during the day.
The role of antioxidants is extremely important for the condition of our sin. These chemical compounds are responsible for the neutralization of the excess of the free radicals which cause the processes of premature ageing. The participate in the collagen synthesis and strengthen the blood vessels. Antioxidant occurs naturally in our bodies, but their number decreases over time. Luckily, we can supplement the - a proper diet is one of the ways to do it. We will find many antioxidants in fruit rich in vitamin C, eg. chokeberries, currants, blueberries, cranberries, blackberries or raspberries, as well as nuts and spices ( cinnamon, oregano, rosemary, curcuma).
3. Healthy Fats
In order to keep our skin healthy, we also need omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Our bodies are not able to produce the acids on their own; that's why we need delivery them with food. Let's add plant oils (e.g. sunflower, linseed, grapeseed), olive oil, fish and nuts to our diet. Unsaturated acids protect against UV radiation and free radical formation. They care for the hydrolipid layer of the epidermis and prevent excessive water loss. Thanks to them, the skin is firm, smooth and has a healthier colour.
We have to drink water! Water hydrates our cells, cleanses the organism and helps to remove toxins from our body. If we make sure to drink the right amount of water every day, we will forget about a dry, dull, grey and flaking skin. We will hydrate it from the inside, take care of its elasticity and radiant look.
